COVID-19: Civil Society Resilience and Sustainability

Lot 6: Media Campaign Grants

1. CONTEXT AND OBJECTIVE

COVID-19: Civil Society Resilience and Sustainability is a regional project run by ERIM (former IREX Europe) and Human Rights House Tbilisi (HRHT) and funded by the European Union. The project aims to support Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), independent activists and independent media to continue their work throughout and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

In order to support CSOs and media in their response to misinformation, grants will be available for media campaigns, advocacy and awareness raising activities. These grants will focus on countering disinformation on health risks, government actions, protection services available, and vulnerable groups, in relation to COVID-19.

LOT 6: Media Campaign Grants

This grant aims to support media campaigns on Covid 19 vaccination, particularly in the regions/remote areas of Georgia. The supported activities might include: door-to-door information campaign, information and support for Covid-19 vaccine registration, information meetings among specific groups (youth, elderly people, teachers etc.), as well as products prepared/shared via social media, TV or print media. Grants will be for up to EUR 8,000 and up to 12 months. Grants will be available both for CSOs and independent media, and they will be prioritized if they submit a common application.
