On November 17th, the “Human Rights Fair,” organized by HRHT,” took place in Tbilisi. This year, the fair featured representations from human rights organizations and initiatives operating in the regions of Georgia. According to the event format, participating organizations and initiatives were pre-selected.

The event included the presentation of the main findings from the thematic report on the situation of human rights defenders in the regions of Georgia, along with a panel discussion.

Human rights defenders, activists, and other interested people attended the fair.

Established in 2018 by HRHT, Human Rights Fair aims to expand the contact network for regional organizations and activists working on human rights issues, as well as to strengthen and promote human rights activism in the regions.

The fair serves as a platform where human rights organizations, initiatives, and activists can establish new contacts for future collaborations, share information about their activities with the wider public.

Human Rights Fair 2023 was held in partnership with Tbilisi Pride and with the financial support of the Human Rights House Foundation.
