About the project
Human Rights House Tbilisi is implementing a project aimed at promoting and strengthening the leadership skills of young women human rights defenders. This 26-month project covers 5 countries of Eurasia.
About the Leadership Academy
The Leadership Academy planned in Georgia will focus on the following topic: Non-commercial and Social Marketing for Human Rights Defenders. The academy will take place during 20-31 October (3 days) 2019 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
International travel costs will be covered for the selected participants by the organization.
Who can participate?
Women holding Georgian citizenship, aged between 18-30 years who:
- Are fighting for human rights, particularly for women’s rights.
- Have the potential to become a leader or strongly advocate for human rights/women’s rights.
LGBTIQ+ women, representatives from ethnic minorities and IDPs are encouraged to apply.
