On May 24, organized by Human Rights House Tbilisi, Georgian human rights defenders met the UN special rapporteur on human rights defenders, Mary Lawlor.
The formal hearing, in two sessions, was attended by 20 Georgian human rights defenders. The HRDs discussed the risks and threats they face during their activities.
